“The jazzy, sassy vocals of Suzi Woods pay homage to the Golden Age of the American Songbook sprinkled with some more contemporary hits.”

Suzi brings to life some greats from the American Songbook and mixes in a few surprises from more recent times to create her unique and classy show.

She began her singing career as one half of original song-writing duo “Building Rome”. In their 7 year career they completed a full UK tour with Jools Holland and his Orchestra and at his invitation, recorded their first CD EP with him at his studio in Blackheath, London. Numerous tour supports also included Labi Siffre and the late great Kirsty MacColl among others. The CD was picked up and played extensively by Radio One and BBC1’s “Daytime Live” with Alan Titchmarsh. She also sang on ITV’s “Footballers’ Wives” in the notorious Chardonnay and Kyle wedding episode in 2003.

More recently as a Solo vocalist, Suzi has performed for the Beckham’s at their home in Hertfordshire supporting Elton John. She soloed with the West End’s Rat Pack at the launch of RCCL’s “Freedom of the Seas” among others and followed this with a trip to Rome to sing for Valentino, Princess Caroline of Monaco and the Fashion world’s Glitterati at the Galeria Borghese with a 10 piece orchestra. On this occasion she supported Annie Lennox.

“Hello” magazine pictured her singing at Blenheim Palace the following year in July 2008 for Tim Jefferies and his model bride Malin Johansson and from there began her career performing regularly as Guest Cabaret on board cruise ships and at private and Corporate functions the world over.
