“An Evening of Music and Humour”.

With world wide record sales on the Decca and EMI labels, appearances on top UK TV shows such as “Sunday Night at the London Palladium”, performances with Count Basie and his Orchestra and cabaret appearances with Tom Jones and many more, Johnny Stafford brings to the theatre and concert stage a unique performance of great music interspersed with his very unique humour.

After early music studies at the Manchester Royal College of Music and performing in concerts there, Johnny although still a teenager was offered the job as lead harmonica player with the legendary television act Morton Fraser’s Harmonica Rascals.

After a few years a solo career followed with a string of BBC radio broadcasts and a number of prime time TV shows plus a top selling single on Decca “Sparrows Can’t Sing” written by Lional Bart for the film of the same name. This was followed by his best selling alburm for EMI “20 Harmonica Greats” and “Encore”. Next came his “Classical Favourites” album for the United States market which was recorded in the USA. His current album “Hit Standards” is in the keeping with the modern trend of the revival of the American Songbook.

Johnny Stafford performs on cruise ships worldwide and in theatre shows on land, in a constant round of both light entertainment and concert performances, broadcasts and recordings.
