In the spirit of the great classical crossover vocalists; Cais Dillon’s dynamic and sophisticated show celebrates all the big voices that we love from Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Andrea Bocelli, Katherine Jenkins, and many more; with songs from musical theatre, opera, and modern classics.
Cais Dillon is an Australian actress, singer, and recording artist. Since the release of her debut album in 2004 she has been wowing audience’s with her enchanting mezzo-soprano voice, her natural warmth on stage and down to earth Aussie sense of humour.
Cais began her performing career writing and performing her own cabaret show in venues across Australia. Her passion for performing saw her win a place at the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre. Cais continued to stretch her voice to new heights studying with renowned Operatic Vocal Coach Gary May where she developed a love of opera, classical, and contemporary classical; often referred to as popera.
Cais has had the pleasure of performing in some of the greatest venues around the world. Highlights include performing as international classical pianist David Helfgott’s special guest artist during his Australian tour. Cais was the featured soloist for the Australian POPs Orchestra’s famous New Years Eve concert at the Melbourne Concert Hall, sharing the stage with Todd McKenney. Always believing that the show must go on, in 2014, only 10 days after giving birth to her son, Cais impressed the judges on Australia’s “The Voice” with her rendition of “Nessun Dorma”.
