About

Oxford University music graduate & West End leading lady Philippa has demonstrated remarkable levels of achievement as a singer, pianist, composer, and producer over the course of her incredibly unique and multi-faceted career.

Philippa’s starring legacy onstage, alongside her versatility as a prolific orchestral arranger and music production guru, gives her a unique ability to curate and deliver bespoke shows for every audience. Her songs range from the timeless classics of musical theatre, to up-to-the-minute dancefloor favourites, as well as brand new original releases in Soul, Funk, & Jazz.

As a child, Philippa's exceptional levels of musicianship won her a place at the highly competitive Chetham's School Of Music, where she trained as a pianist and composer, before going on to graduate with honours from University College, Oxford. By this time, Philippa's incredible singing voice had also gained significant attention, leading to several starring roles in the West End (including the role of Cosette in the record-breaking London production of “Les Miserables”, for which she was personally chosen by Sir Cameron Mackintosh.)

In 2003 Philippa was invited by Cunard to combine her singing, piano, music production, arranging, and stagecraft talents into a Vegas-style cabaret show. Since then, she has headlined relentlessly all over the globe for the world's most luxurious cruise lines, as well as continuing her career as a special guest soloist in the U.K. (including appearances with the National Symphony Orchestra, Kylie Minogue, Sir Simon Rattle, and Only Men Aloud.)

In recent months, Philippa has expanded her horizons even further by releasing her own, original Soul/Funk songs, already winning praise on the “BBC Introducing” radio showcase for new music. 2024 marks the release of some exciting recordings with legendary members of Jamiroquai (Rob Harris, Paul Turner and Derrick McKenzie), and award-winning icons from across London's contemporary jazz circuit.
