About
Nefelopetra is an award-winning Greek mixed performing arts company founded by composer and musician Petros Politis and dancer, violinist, and aerial artist Nefeli Markaki. Their prizes include a Golden Buzzer on GGT, the winner of Eurovision Young Dancers, and a UNESCO prize for their music and aerial duo.
Blending live music, dance, aerial acrobatics, and visual arts, the company creates original multidisciplinary performances that combine powerful storytelling with striking imagery. All productions feature original music compositions, choreography, and video art, developed by the artists themselves.
Over the years, Nefelopetra has performed at major theaters, festivals, and cultural venues across Greece, including Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall, Onassis Cultural Centre (Stegi), Moni Lazariston Festival, Apollon Theatre of Syros, Half Note Jazz Club, and numerous international festivals and events.
In recent years, the company has expanded its activities internationally, creating and presenting large-scale productions for prestigious luxury resorts such as One&Only Maldives, St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, and Four Seasons Seychelles.
Through the fusion of music, movement, and aerial performance, Nefelopetra delivers unique artistic experiences that connect contemporary circus, theater, and live music into a single immersive performance.
