A Denver native, Mica is a versatile soprano who holds a Bachelor of Music from the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver and a Master of Music from NYU Steinhardt.
She has performed around the world, including the international tour of The Wizard of Oz and the national tour of Cirque Dreams Holidaze. Mica has sung backup for artists such as Josh Groban, Shoshana Bean, and Dianne Reeves, and originated the lead role in Central City Opera’s bilingual educational program En Mis Palabras (In My Own Words). She also performed at Radio City Music Hall for Telemundo during the NBC/Universal Upfronts.
As a MainStage Vocalist with Silver Seas and Princess Cruise Lines, Mica has visited over 40 countries. Her other performance credits include variety and production shows in Pigeon Forge, Niagara Falls, Myrtle Beach, and Alaska’s Denali Wilderness Lodge. She has also been a featured vocalist with Dublin Worldwide Entertainment in Anthems of Rock and Dublin’s Irish Tenors and Celtic Ladies, and appeared in multiple Christmas Spectaculars at the American Music Theatre.
Her favorite regional theater roles include Betty (White Christmas), Eva (Evita), Phoebe (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder), Sally (You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown), Marta (Company), Rosie (Bye Bye Birdie), Lily/Rose (The Secret Garden), and Cathy (The Last Five Years). As a Resident Artist with Di Capo Opera Theatre, she performed in Tosca, Iolanta, Beauty and the Beast, The Most Happy Fella, and their artist cabarets. She also portrayed Micaëla in Carmen with the Boulder Symphony Orchestra.
Mica is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association. When not performing, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their Pomeranian, Gus Gus, being with family and friends, seeing shows, traveling, practicing yoga, working out, and reading.
