About

UK-born and multi-genre vocalist, Lydia Cristina, surprises and inspires audiences worldwide with dynamic performances ranging from her admirable tribute to Judy Garland, to honouring some of the most iconic, unstoppable divas or just by immersing you fully into the impressive world of musical theatre.

Lydia began her musical journey at The BRIT School for Performing Arts, before going on to train at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London. She has appeared in a wide range of musical productions and pantomimes across London and the South East, with credits including u/s Maureen in Rent, Teresa in Howard Goodall’s Days of Hope, Dominique du Monaco in Lucky Stiff, and her most rewarding challenge to date, Mrs T and u/s Kate Monster/Lucy in Avenue Q.

Alongside her theatre work, Lydia has performed in various concerts, sharing the stage with artists such as Lee Mead and Kerry Ellis in The West End Men, Peter Polycarpou in The Songs of My Life and David Phelps at the O2, London.

For over a decade, Lydia has worked in the luxury cruise industry, in both artistic and corporate based roles. This has allowed her the opportunity to take her unforgettable shows and powerhouse performances around the world, singing aboard stunning vessels and inaugurating new ships, to share her versatile vocals with international audiences.

In the words of Dorothy Gale, although “there is no place like home”, Lydia now resides in the South of France, where the sun always shines and the rosé is renowned.
