Les Lankhorst – THE CROONER
Crooner [Kroon-er]: A popular singer who sings in an evenly modulated, slightly exagerated manner.
Les Lankhorst is a vintage crooner, in the purist sense. Growing up in the small town of Salina, Kansas, Les was influenced by his father's love of the great swing singers...Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole and of course Frank Sinatra, to name a few. He got his start in the theatre at a young age and after graduating Kansas State University he ended up in New York City. He toured in National tours of Joseph...Dreamcoat, Zorba the Greek and My Way. But his performance career changed forever when he landed the coveted role of Frank Sinatra in the Las Vegas production of The Rat Pack is Back. Les spent over 5 years performing the role of Sinatra all over the country and now, in addition to his solo show, he produces is own Rat Pack Tribute The Rat Pack Live! all over the world! "LES LANKHORST - THE CROONER" celebrates the music and swagger of some of the greatest entertainers to ever grace the stage. Broadwayworld.com says “Dapper and warm-hearted, Les Lankhorst brings high class to the high seas…a magnificent concert!” and TheExaminer.com says “All hits–and no misses.
