LAUREN JELENCOVICH is currently on tour with Yanni as his featured vocalist, performing to sold out venues all over the world such as Radio City Music Hall, Red Rocks Amphitheater and Royal Albert Hall. She can be seen on his PBS Specials/DVDs and CDs. Lauren is featured on Yanni's album, Inspirato, singing the song Usignolo (Nightingale) alongside Plácido Domingo and Renèe Fleming. Lauren is a Grand Prize winner of Ed McMahon’s Star Search and Andrea Bocelli’s World Scholarship. Featured in People Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People and Teen Magazine, Lauren has garnered great acclaim for her affecting portrayals of opera and musical theater roles throughout the world. Recently, Lauren collaborated with Manhattan Concert Productions alongside Sierra Boggess, Norm Lewis, Tony Yazbeck and many other Broadway stars for a tribute concert. Lauren teamed up with Mauricio Martinez and Felipe Tristan for their own concert titled "Broadway Sinfonico." With record breaking attendance, over 20 thousand people watched the performance at the famed Festival de Santa Lucia in Monterrey, Mexico. Yanni's tour just concluded a third visit to Saudi Arabia, where Lauren was the first woman in recent history to
sing on stage for a mixed audience of men and women, a moment she and Yanni both recall as one of the most moving experiences on stage.
Between tours and solo performances, Lauren is working on various albums. One of the albums features a song she wrote with Marcus Hummon (Grammy and BMI Award Winner, Six #1 Records), two songs produced by Leo- Z (composer/producer - Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban), and select songs with Julian Raymond (Grammy Award Winning Producer - Big Machine/WB records).
Lauren is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and is known for her effortless high notes.
