Virtuoso violinist & fiddle-player, Juliette Primrose is your enchanting tour guide. She has been touring the world almost constantly, since the age of 21! Juliette has dazzled audiences around the globe, starring as the solo fiddler of Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance and Gaelforce Dance. She has also held orchestral positions in touring productions of The Phantom of the Opera (Cameron Mackintosh) and Westside Story; and from age 17, supported legends such as Dame Shirley Bassey and Dionne Warwick.
Her jazz-violin debut on national radio age 15, has led to TV & radio appearances in numerous musical styles, in the United States & her native New Zealand. Some of Juliette’s diverse recording credits include: pop violin solo on the platinum-selling How Bizarre album by OMC; heavy metal albums alongside members of Guns n Roses and Dio; country fiddle for movie-soundtracks with the original Dukes of Hazzard stars & band, and session-playing at the iconic Capitol Records.
Juliette delivers a myriad of musical styles with real spirit; and masterful authenticity. Having begun violin at age 4; studying at the University of Auckland from age eleven; and winning many prestigious scholarships over the years: she completed her Post Graduate studies in Advanced Violin Performance at Britain’s Royal Northern College of Music. For her exceptional achievements as a violinist; the United States has awarded Juliette the prestigious status: “Artist of Extraordinary Ability.”
She became fluent in multiple musical languages, from an early age; through working closely with original luminaries in: swing, gypsy-jazz, rock, Celtic, Klezmer, heavy metal, pop, funk, R&B, blues, country, bluegrass, Arabic, Reggae, ska, classical and early music.
Truly world-renowned, Juliette is equally at home performing before royalty and in high-profile musical events: or jamming with the locals in an Athenian Cafe or on a Hawaiian beach; as well as with rock bands, swing bands, folk ensembles, Klezmer bands, orchestras and chamber groups around the world.
