Joseph Anthony's journey into comedy began early, using sarcastic wit to navigate tough times and finding joy escaping into variety shows like The Carol Burnett Show and listening to comedians like Pat Cooper. A snippet of career highlights includes being a finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and a guest on ABC’s The View. He's headlined top venues, such as Borgata Hotel Casino in Atlantic City, NJ, Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle in Michigan, and Comedy Cabana in Myrtle Beach, SC. His acclaimed one-man show, Joseph Anthony Speaks the Truth, was a hit at the Algonquin Arts Theatre in New Jersey.
Despite his classic New York accent and proud Italian American roots, Joseph eclipses the stereotype of an "Italian comic." His storytelling, drawn from real-life struggles, transforms into brilliantly relatable humor. He's been called, “a modern-day Lenny Bruce” and is praised for his improvisational skills, making every show unique.
Though focused on quality live performances, and not competitions, Joseph has won several, including the Carnival Cruise Lines Comedy Challenge and Howard Stern's Kill or Be Killed. Starting work at age eleven instilled in him a strong commitment to producing great work!
