With a naturally engaging stage personality, a stunning voice and unique piano stylings, John Milligan has something for everyone!
John was performing for large crowds regularly from the age of 10, held a weekly paid piano bar residency at 15, and started on the Sydney pub and club circuit by the end of High School. With guidance from amazing musicians, he graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Music (Performance).
After university, John worked as a School of Rock coach, established Sydney’s Big Pub Choir for adults, and went on to produce Jason Robert Brown’s musical “The Last Five Years” at the National Institute of Dramatic Art.
Following this he produced events such as “Sydney sings the Tony’s”, “Songs of SMASH”, “Songs of Disney”, “Funny Songs”, and “Songs of Jason Robert Brown”, all featuring local Sydney performers at The Vanguard, Sydney.
For the past 8 years he has been entertaining cruise ship passengers all around the world. Bringing his natural charm, a rich musicianship, and
humungous repertoire wherever he performs – John Milligan keeps audiences singing, clapping and dancing to songs they know and love!
