About
Marine biologist Jessica Walker has spent nearly 15 years studying the wonders of the natural world. Her insatiable curiosity has led to two degrees in biological and marine science, her passions taking her from tropical and temperate reefs, to rainforests, mountains, fjords, and even the polar regions. She has a diverse background, from researching corals and mapping rainforests, to working on research vessels, remote islands, and even using artificial intelligence to better protect and conserve species on the sea floor.
Jessica’s also a seasoned dive instructor and avid photographer with over 2000 hours spent underwater interacting with whales and manta rays, to dozens of sharks, and the tiniest of sea slugs. Her adventures have taken her to over 30 countries, sharing her love of the natural world with everyone she meets, teaching biology and conservation, turning complicated concepts, ecosystems, and species into fascinating and memorable discussions.
