Gordana Kostić is a British-Serbian-Hungarian Soprano, now permanently based in London, UK. Gordana is privileged to be working with worldwide renowned opera star Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. Gordana holds an MMus Degree in Performance Studies, Advanced Diploma, Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma in Singing from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire /Trinity College of Music, London. She holds a Degree from the Faculty of Music, University of Art in Belgrade, Serbia. Throughout her studies she was supported by Aurelius and Leverhulme Foundation and was awarded grants by Kathleen Trust, Wax Chandlers Livery Company, Helen Elder Memorial Trust, Rivendell Trust, William Cox Memorial Trust, UK and Opus 50 Investments, Australia. Gordana also won First Prize in the Orpheus Laureates Solo Singing Competition and is a winner of a special award of the First Vienna International Music Competition and 4thManhattan International Music Competition. Gordana’s opera engagements, include the title role in Carmen and The Coronation of Poppea, Mimi in La Boheme, Cio-Cio San in Madam Butterfly, Despina in Cosi fan tutte, including a tour of the 62 American cities, with Columbia Artist Management, performing Kate Pinkerton in Madam Butterfly. Gordana has also performed at the prestigious International Opera Festival in Miskolc, Hungary, Brighton Festival, prestigious venues such as Royal Festival Hall, Fairfield Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, St John’s Smith Square, St Martins- in- the Field, St James Piccadilly, London,and Kolarac Hall in Serbia. Gordana has recently acted in the thought-provoking play ‘Another Eavesdropping’ in London where she’s received praises by audiences as well as the outstanding review.
