About
Gabriel Rossi began his career as a stand-up comedian on June 30, 1996. After a few years learning his craft in Melbourne, he began to travel around Australia doing comedy in front of a large variety of Australian audiences.
In the late 90’s Gabriel introduced a musical element and has since become one of Australia’s best song parodists. Having an Italian heritage did enable Gabriel to carve out a niche in the ethnic comedy genre and perform regularly with many great ethnic-Australian artists such as Tahir (Fat Pizza/Here Come the Habibs) and George Kapiniaris (Acropolis Now/Wogs Out of Work) and more.
Gabriel also worked with world-renowned Italian-Australian comedy sensation Joe Avati providing a support act on his Australian and UK tours from 2000 right through to 2015.
Gabriel Rossi is a resident comedians at the Comic’s Lounge in North Melbourne. He can be seen performing there most weeks.
