About
Colleen began her musical journey at the age of four, went after hearing her sister play a piece at the piano she then played it back by ear. After receiving her voice performance degree from DePauw University, she worked in several regional theaters in a variety of roles including Sally Bowles in “Cabaret,” Nellie Forbush in “South Pacific,” and Yum-Yum in the Gilbert and Sullivan operetta “The Mikado.” Known for her clear floating soprano voice, she can just as easily built out a pop classic, allowing her to perform everything from Puccini to Aretha Franklin. Perhaps award-winning Broadway personality Jim Brochu sums it up best by saying “It is an understatement to say that Colleen is one of the best singers I have ever heard. She is Ethel Merman, Ella Fitzgerald and Joan Sutherland all rolled into one extravagantly gifted, magical voice.”
