CHRISTINA JOHNSTON — “THE NIGHTINGALE”

Christina Johnston, affectionately known as “The Nightingale,” is an internationally acclaimed Coloratura soprano who has performed for Presidents, Heads of State, Royalty and audiences across Europe, Asia and South America.
Awarded a scholarship to the Guildhall School of Music & Drama at 17, Christina made her operatic debut at the State Opera Prague, performing the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute and Adele in Die Fledermaus and Zerlina in Don Giovanni. She has since performed principal roles throughout Europe and Russia.
Her career spans opera, classical crossover, film and major live entertainment. She has performed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Berlin Philharmonic orchestra and City of Prague Philharmonic, alongside José Carreras and Russell Watson, and her voice has featured in films including Wonder Woman 1984. Her debut album was nominated for a Classic BRIT Award, while her single A Million Tears reached No.1 on the UK Classical Charts. She has performed internationally at prestigious events including St Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican, and has toured extensively across Europe, South America and Asia.
