About
Barrie Kealoha is a proud kanaka maoli (Native Hawaiian) singer, storyteller, and voiceover artist, based in Honolulu, Hawai’i. Born and raised in Southern California, she lived in New York City, Madrid, and Paris, and traveled the world before finally coming back to her ancestral roots on the island of O’ahu. From singing the national anthem at Madison Square Garden to debuting the Spanish-language reimagining of Bizet’s Carmen at the Théâtre du Châtelet, to treading the boards at theaters all over the US, Barrie is no stranger to the stage. As a voiceover artist, she can be heard chanting in Hawaiian on CBS’s hit show Survivor, in commercials for Hawaiian Airlines, and on dozens of audiobooks available worldwide. When she’s not out dazzling the crowds, she can usually be found curled up with her beloved orange cat Marshall binge-watching old episodes of The Great British Bakeoff.
