About

Anthony Smith (b. 1984) is a passionate presenter with more than a decade of experience lecturing on cruise ships all around the world, totalling sixty-five cruises visiting all seven continents.

Anthony studied Zoology at Cambridge University, after which he sailed around the world on a tall ship presenting a television documentary series about Charles Darwin. He has lived alongside penguins, visited more than one hundred countries, made twenty voyages to Antarctica, and three expeditions to the Geographic North Pole aboard a nuclear-powered icebreaker. He has been commissioned by BBC Wildlife to write and photograph a story about the Falkland Islands and his photos appear in National Geographic Publications. He has sculpted bronze statues for Oxford and Cambridge Universities and the Natural History Museum of London, and these have been unveiled by luminaries such as Sir David Attenborough, HRH Prince Philip, and the King and Queen of Sweden. You will also find coins designed and sculpted by Anthony in your change in the UK.
