Anna Shenk-Evans is a passionate marine scientist and educator with a deep commitment to ocean conservation. Anna graduated from Duke University with a degree in Environmental Sciences with a Marine Science and Conservation Concentration. After earning her degree, she spent time in Curaçao working on coral restoration, where she honed her skills in Caribbean fish and coral identification and delivered engaging presentations to tourists.
Anna is a certified PADI Rescue Diver and brings a wealth of practical experience to her role as a naturalist. Her ability to communicate complex marine science concepts in an accessible and captivating way makes her an effective lecturer. Outside of her professional work, Anna enjoys scuba diving, singing, and indulging in a variety of crafts, from sewing to crochet. Her dedication to both education and the environment drives her mission to inspire others to appreciate and protect our oceans.
