Alan McElroy is an award winning Irish comedian, living in New Zealand. He is a regular panelist on RNZ’s The Panel & has been running Crack Up Quiz for years. It’s an alternative humorous quiz which he sells to bars, universities & corporates. He is fresh from a 28 show sell out tour of NZ with his show, Booze & Craic and also Melbourne International Comedy Festival & the Fringe festivals with his new show Mad, Innit?!. It’s a show about a recent diagnosis of ADHD at the age of 42 in which he reviews many silly stories but a new understanding of how his brain works
His 2023 show MisTaken Identity sold out it’s run at NZ Fringe, Dunedin Fringe & Nelson Fringe.
With his energetic, storytelling style, Alan is a sought-after MC & headliner at comedy clubs & corporate events around NZ. He has recently been nominated for Best MC & Best Producer with his company, Crack Up Comedy at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards 2023.
