A unique instrumental show with a dynamic approach - presenting music from yesterday to yesteryear; dance, big band, funk/soul, pop, classical and klezmer/gypsy jazz!

As an accomplished instrumentalist, Anne’s performances showcase the diverse range of music for which the clarinet is renowned, including some original versions of much loved repertoire.  Her shows take a journey through the broad range of music that popularized the clarinet, from its orchestral roots and Big Band jazz through to Stranger on the Shore and Rhapsody in Blue, and from world folk music and gypsy jazz to artists such as Billy Joel to Alicia Keys.  Anne’s vibrant performance and varied programme, on flute and saxophone as well as the clarinet, reflects her musicality, encapsulating the different sounds the clarinet can produce and its resonant vocal quality.

Anne’s career has taken her from the leading concert venues in Britain through to the finest theatres on the seven seas, performing on saxophone, clarinet and flute in P&O Orchestras across the fleet.  Always looking to discover new horizons, in both travel and music, Anne draws on these experiences in her performances.

Having studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and Trinity College of Music, where she won the John Ireland Chamber Music Competition, Anne’s experience includes solo recitals, orchestral performances on bass clarinet, musical theatre work, performances on BBC Radio 3 and at Buckingham Palace, and backing numerous artists including Russell Watson.
