Crossover violinist / composer Daphne Su is an exuberant virtuoso who plays diverse musical styles in various fields including classical, film scoring, musical theater, and pop music.

Daphne Su received her Master of Music from The Juilliard School. During her stay in New York, she has been invited to perform in numerous international music festivals as concertmaster or principal violinist, collaborating with world famous conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Valerie Gergiev, James Levine, Bernard Haitink, and Andre Previn.

After returning to Asia, she started to create new possibilities of her music career. She has shared stages with renowned pop artists such as Jam Hsiao, Yamashita Tomohisa, Fish Leong, and Waa, etc. In addition, she has recorded original film scores for many famous motion pictures including “You Are the Apple of My Eyes”, “Jump! Ashin”, and “Love”. She has also played in the orchestra of the ground-breaking original Chinese musical “Mulan” in National Theater. The movie "The Will to Power" that she scored also received the Golden Bell award as best picture of the year.
